Role Overview :

As the Plant Head - Solar Module Manufacturing Plant (Greenfield Project), you will be responsible for the complete operational setup and management of our new solar module manufacturing facility in Punjab. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of plant operations, from initial setup and commissioning to ongoing production, quality control, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, sales, and finance teams, as well as external vendors and regulatory bodies. Your leadership will directly impact the plant's efficiency, output quality, and overall contribution to the company's renewable energy goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the greenfield project execution, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget, safety, and quality standards.

- Establish and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain management, to achieve optimal efficiency and output.

- Develop and implement production strategies, plans, and procedures to meet or exceed production targets and customer expectations.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the plant.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

- Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing leadership, coaching, and training to ensure their success.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand market demands and adjust production plans accordingly.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a solar module manufacturing plant, including experience with greenfield project execution.

- Proven expertise in production planning, quality control, and supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.

- Strong understanding of solar module manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.

- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or a related field.

- Adaptability to work on-site in Punjab, overseeing all aspects of the plant's operations.
