Plant Head - (Sanaswadi)
Mandatory : Experience in Gear Equipment & Gear Cutting
Key Responsibilities:1. Plant Operations Management- Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain.
- Ensure production targets are achieved in line with customer requirements and delivery schedules.
- Drive capacity utilization and operational efficiency across all manufacturing lines.
2. Strategic Planning & Execution- Develop and implement plant-level strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive long-term capacity planning, expansion, and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure alignment with business growth plans in the automotive components segment.
3. Manufacturing Excellence- Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, and Six Sigma practices.
- Continuously improve productivity, reduce cycle time, and eliminate waste.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices in gear aggregates manufacturing.
4. Quality & Compliance- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
- Drive zero-defect culture and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Cost Management- Monitor and control plant budgets, operating costs, and capital expenditures.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality and safety.
- Optimize resource utilization (manpower, material, utilities).
6. People Leadership- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Plant HR.
- Strengthen leadership pipeline and capability building within the plant.
- Foster a high-performance and collaborative work culture.
7. Industrial Relations (IR)- Maintain healthy industrial relations and ensure a harmonious work environment.
- Handle union interactions, negotiations, and statutory compliance.
- Proactively address workforce concerns and minimize disruptions.
8. Safety & Sustainability
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and promote a zero-harm culture.
- Drive EHS initiatives and sustainability practices within the plant.
