Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Head to lead our Electric Vehicle (EV) manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing overall plant operations, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in EV manufacturing, and a focus on safety, cost management, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management:

- Lead, motivate, and develop the plant team to achieve production targets and operational excellence.

- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Production & Operations:

- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes for electric vehicles.

- Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.

- Implement lean manufacturing and best practices to optimize efficiency.

Quality Assurance:

- Maintain high-quality standards in line with company policies and industry regulations.

- Implement quality control measures and address non-conformities promptly.

Technology & Innovation:

- Stay abreast of advancements in EV technology and manufacturing processes.

- Drive automation, digitization, and innovation initiatives within the plant.

Supply Chain & Inventory Management:

- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and suppliers to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

- Manage inventory levels to optimize working capital.

Compliance & Safety:

- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards.

- Promote a safe working environment and conduct regular safety audits.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

- Prepare and manage plant budgets.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Reporting & Stakeholder Management:

- Report operational performance to senior management.

- Collaborate with R&D, design, and other departments for product development and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or related fields.

- Proven experience (10+ years) in manufacturing, preferably in EV or automotive industry.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- In-depth knowledge of EV manufacturing processes, automation, and quality standards.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

- Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

- Proficiency in ERP systems and manufacturing software.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
