Job Purpose:
The Operations Head will be responsible for managing and driving end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring optimum production, quality, maintenance, safety, cost efficiency and supply chain coordination across the plant. The role requires strong technical and operational expertise in beverage manufacturing, particularly exposure to Juice / Soft Drinks manufacturing through PET and Tetra lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complete plant manufacturing operations.
- Drive production planning and ensure achievement of production targets.
- Improve productivity, line efficiency and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials and utilities.
- Monitor plant costs and drive cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure high standards of product quality, food safety and process compliance.
- Drive preventive maintenance, breakdown reduction and machine reliability.
- Monitor plant KPIs, production losses, downtime and operational performance.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Lead continuous improvement, process improvement and productivity initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and mentor plant teams and build strong cross-functional coordination.
- Support new projects, plant improvements, automation and capacity enhancement initiatives.
- Ensure smooth coordination with supply chain for RM, PM and finished goods availability.
- Prepare and review operational MIS and performance reports with senior management.
Candidate Specification:
- 15 - 25 years of relevant experience in manufacturing / plant operations.
- Candidates from Beverage / FMCG Manufacturing preferred. Experience from Liquor or Dairy with Beverage manufacturing exposure can also be considered.
Educational Qualification:
- BE / B.Tech - Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics
