We are hiring for Plant Head for a German MNC based at Gurugram location. They are into auto component business and therefore the preference would be for suitable candidates from similar/related industry background.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for Management and overseeing the operational departments Production and Quality for Cold Forming, Injection Molding, Assembly, Sorting and Machining and CNC.

2. Responsible for overall warehouse management to ensure the well implementation of all activities, e.g. receiving, shortage, delivering, etc.

3. Responsible for equipment management including installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, continuous improvement. Maintain sustainable and profitable growth of production.

4. Measure and track production KPI's to increase efficiency and productivity with a goal of 3% annually.

5. Reviewing production forecasts and working in close collaboration with the related Departments from Sales and Sales Administration.

6. Fully responsible for P&L in Operations.

7. Fully in charge of HR in the Operations Departments according to the valid budget planning.

8. Ensuring on time delivery of flawless products according to the production planning

9. Initiating and drafting annual Budgets for Operations in cooperation with the local Management Team.

10. Implementing a 3-year Strategic Plan for Production and Operations in line with the Global Product Centers and the local Management Team.

11. Leading of localization projects and implementation of approved investments.

12. Collaboration with all relevant divisions and departments.

13. Implement team structures across the Organization with an MBO approach on Supervisor and Management Level and Leading and motivating the Teams in Operations.

14. Collaboration with the Global Heads of Product Centres in terms of Production Strategy and Localization with participation in Global Production Meetings and exchange of best practices.

15. Responsible for compliance with the current Quality, Environmental and Health Management systems, including Documentation and safety regulations.

16. Establish Monthly and Quarterly reporting to the Managing Director

17. Other duty assigned by superior.

Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor's or master's Degree with a technical background (engineering or similar).

2. Minimum of 15 years management experience in manufacturing and operational management.

3. Strong intercultural knowledge and communication capability.

4. Fundamental knowledge of Quality Systems, especially IATF16949, ISO14001, AS9120, etc.

5. Dynamic / proactive thinking personality with structured working style and strong leadership skills.

6. Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
