Job Brief:

We are looking for a dedicated and hands-on Plant Head to lead our brass inserts casting operations.

In this role, you will ensure smooth daily production, maintain high-quality standards, and guide your team to achieve excellence in every shift.

Responsibilities:

- Ensure smooth production and meet daily and monthly targets as per the plan.

- Reduce downtime and improve equipment performance to maximize efficiency.

- Optimize processes in brass melting, die-casting, and machining to boost yield and lower scrap generation.

- Maintain consistent casting quality to reduce rejections and customer complaints.

- Support new product and sample development, ensuring timely approvals and smooth trials.

- Monitor metal usage and cost, focusing on reducing waste and improving recovery rates.

- Lead and motivate your team to improve productivity, reduce absenteeism, and build skills through training and development.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Production Engineering (or related field).

- Minimum 7 to 10+ years of experience in brass casting or die-casting operations.

- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and process optimization.

- Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and meet performance goals.

- Hands-on experience with OEE, yield, and cycle time improvement metrics will be an advantage.
