Job Purpose:
Oversee and manage overall plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, and stores to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, safety, and compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure zero major accidents and maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
- Monitor and control operations to achieve efficiency, effectiveness, and cost optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, process efficiency, and 5S performance.
- Identify, plan, and implement process and productivity improvement programs.
- Establish and enforce departmental policies, operational goals, and performance standards.
- Oversee planning, layout, and management of raw material and finished goods stores.
- Manage manpower planning, recruitment, training, and development of team members.
- Ensure timely coordination between production, quality, and maintenance functions for smooth operations.
- Oversee supplier quality management and ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Drive initiatives for lean manufacturing, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of production, quality, and warehouse operations.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Expertise in process improvement, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Familiarity with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Awareness of safety, environmental, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational targets.
