Plant Finance Manager - Costing & Plant Finance

Role Overview:

This role supports end-to-end plant finance activities for a greenfield manufacturing setup. It spans Finance business partnering, Operations finance, Product Costing, Cost accounting, System & Processes, Capex/CWIP, Project close-out and period-end reporting, controls and MIS.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive Plant finance actions for cost & budgetary control.

- Inventory management & control.

- Inbound compliance processes & payables.

- Finance business partnering.

- Enable Systems/processes readiness and governance for the plant.

- Manage capex/CWIP accounting, asset capitalisation and project close-out.

- Period-end close, Plant MIS/reporting, audits and controls (including plant admin/employee services spend).

- Vendor and internal stakeholder coordination.

- Product costing and Variance analysis.

- Exposure to COPA and ML desirable.

Eligibility/Domain Experience:

3-6 years of experience in Cost control, Inventory management, Accounts Payable, Vendor governance, asset capitalisation, analytical skills, Product costing, strong oral and written communication, ability to liaise with stakeholders. Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is mandatory.

Experience in greenfield or large-scale infrastructure projects, Exposure to battery industry is an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

- Strong understanding of plant finance activities including Product costing, payables, inventory management, Plant MIS and period-end closing within a robust control environment.

- Hands-on experience with SAP and strong proficiency in Excel for reconciliations, reporting and analysis.

- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and documentation discipline.

- Effective cross-functional and vendor coordination to enable timely approvals, issue resolution and execution.

Qualifications: Engineer & MBA Finance / Engineer & CMA (Preferred) OR CMA / CA
