Plant Finance Controller - Manufacturing Finance

Job Overview :

- We are looking for a Finance Controller with strong experience in manufacturing finance and costing, preferably with exposure to German entities or operations. The role involves end-to-end ownership of plant finance, including costing, compliance, audits, and business partnering.

- Candidates should be open to relocating to Germany.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead costing and variance analysis, including detailed explanation of production costs

- Ensure propriety of expenses and adherence to financial discipline

- Drive statutory and regulatory compliance for the unit

- Implement and strengthen internal controls and audit frameworks

- Manage unit trial balance and monitor off-balance sheet items

- Oversee inventory controls, including physical verification

- Handle statutory, tax, and consolidation audits

- Ensure timely month-end closure and adherence to closing calendars

- Conduct cost reviews, provisioning, and financial reporting

- Support business performance management and decision-making

- Manage CAPEX planning and tracking

- Identify and manage risks & opportunities

- Prepare and monitor unit budgets

- Act as a business partner to operations and leadership teams

Key Requirements :

- CMA with 5 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing/plant finance

- Strong hands-on experience in costing, variance analysis, and inventory management

- Exposure to German manufacturing operations preferred

- Experience in handling audits, compliance, and financial reporting

- Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
