Plant Finance Controller - CA/CMA/ICWA

Job Description - Plant Controller:

Location: Bhiwadi

Qualification: ICWA / CMA / CA - Qualified

Experience: 5 - 7 Years

Role Purpose:

The Plant Controller will be responsible for driving a process-driven and performance-oriented manufacturing environment. While the incumbent will have a finance/accounting background, the role is primarily Plant Controlling, requiring close involvement with Operations, Engineering and other plant functions, along with a strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure adherence to laid-down processes, procedures and controls across the plant and escalate deviations appropriately.

- Partner with the Plant Head by providing business insights and actionable inputs for decision-making.

- Monitor actual performance against budget, identify key variances, conduct root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.

- Drive cost and inventory controls, margin improvement and operational efficiency across the plant.

- Work closely with Operations and Engineering to develop and maintain Standard Cost for components/parts manufactured at the plant.

- Apply knowledge of Standard Costing and Zero-Based Costing to improve cost visibility and identify cost optimisation opportunities.

- Develop a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, costing parameters and cost drivers and their impact on plant performance.

- Work closely with Production and other plant functions to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen process controls.

- Drive a culture of process discipline, accountability and continuous improvement.

- Contribute to overall manufacturing excellence through effective plant controls and performance management.

Systems and Technical Skills:

- Strong working knowledge of SAP and relevant modules, including COPA, MM, MRP, PP, etc. is highly desirable and preferably essential.

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyse data and present meaningful business insights.

- Good understanding of Standard Costing, Zero-Based Costing, budgeting, variance analysis, cost and inventory control processes.
