Plant Accounts Head - CA

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plant Financial Management:

- Lead end-to-end plant accounting operations, including book closure, MIS, and financial reporting

- Ensure accurate costing of sheet metal and PDC components

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

- Monitor plant-level profitability and cost optimization initiatives

2. Project & Expansion Accounting:

- Manage financials for new PDC facility setup, including capex tracking and asset capitalization

- Work closely with project and operations teams for cost control and financial discipline

- Ensure proper accounting treatment of project expenses and timelines

3. Taxation & Compliance:

- Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances

- Ensure timely filings, audits, and adherence to regulatory requirements

- Handle internal and external audits effectively

4. Working Capital & Fund Management:

- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking operations

- Coordinate with HO for fund planning and utilization

- Optimize inventory valuation and receivables/payables cycle

5. Commercial & Business Partnering:

- Support business decisions through financial insights and analysis

- Work closely with procurement, production, and supply chain teams

- Strengthen financial controls and systems within the plant

Candidate Profile:

- Qualified CA with 8-12 years of relevant experience

- Proven experience in plant finance within automotive / auto component industry

Exposure to both:

i. Running plant accounting operations

ii. Greenfield/Brownfield project accounting or plant expansion

- Strong knowledge of manufacturing costing (Sheet Metal / Die Casting preferred)

- Hands-on experience in GST and direct taxation

- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Background:

- Candidates from North India OR professionals currently working in South India or other part of country but with roots in North India

- Prior experience with Tier 1 automotive suppliers catering to OEMs (especially 2-wheeler segment) will be an advantage
