Role Overview:

As the Planning Head - Data Centre, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of our data center infrastructure in Noida/Greater Noida. Your day-to-day will involve strategic capacity planning, meticulous project management, and ensuring optimal resource allocation to meet the growing demands of our clients and internal stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business development teams to translate business needs into actionable plans, driving efficiency and innovation in our data center operations. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver reliable, scalable, and cost-effective data center solutions, ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute comprehensive capacity plans for data centers, anticipating future growth and ensuring optimal resource utilization for sustained operational efficiency.

- Lead the planning and execution of data center projects, including expansions, upgrades, and new builds, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards to meet business objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and sales, to align data center planning with business strategy and customer requirements, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring seamless execution.

- Conduct thorough analysis of data center performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing ROI.

- Manage and mentor a team of planning professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to foster a high-performing team and ensure the continuous improvement of planning capabilities.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of data center planning documentation, including capacity models, project plans, and standard operating procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry best practices.

- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance data center planning and operations, and driving innovation to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in data center capacity planning, including forecasting, modeling, and resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization and scalability.

- Proven ability to manage complex data center projects, from inception to completion, delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues related to data center planning and operations, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

- Deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and networking, enabling effective planning and optimization of resources.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and delivering results under pressure.
