About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to support the Health Minister's Program Management Unit (PMU) in driving key health initiatives across the state. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work directly with senior government officials, and experience in the public health ecosystem.
You will work closely with the Health Minister's office, review ongoing programs, generate strategic insights, recommend improvements, and coordinate with various departments and state-level functionaries to ensure timely implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Review & Strategic Advisory
- Conduct periodic reviews of state and national health programs.
- Identify gaps, challenges, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Develop actionable recommendations and present insights to the Health Minister and other state officials.
2. Research & Analysis
- Undertake primary and secondary research on health policies, sector trends, and best practices.
- Prepare policy briefs, analytical reports, and concept notes to support decision-making.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with state-level health officials, district administrations, and other government stakeholders.
- Coordinate program implementation activities across departments and ensure alignment with PMU directives.
- Facilitate communication, follow-ups, and review meetings.
4. Idea Generation & Problem Solving
- Proactively conceptualize innovative solutions for improving program outcomes.
- Support the design and monitoring of pilot projects and strategic interventions.
- Collaborate with the PMU team to translate ideas into structured implementation plans.
5. Project Management
- Track progress of ongoing initiatives using dashboards, trackers, and field feedback.
- Highlight risks, create mitigation plans, and ensure timely closure of action points.
- Manage documentation, reporting, and knowledge dissemination.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduation/Post-graduation from IIT/IIM or other top-tier institutions (preferred).
- 2-3 years of experience in public health, government consulting, policy research, program implementation, or related fields.
- Demonstrated experience in working with government stakeholders (state or central), preferably in the health sector.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stakes environments with senior officials.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated experience in advocacy and collaboration with State level administrative authorities

Travel: This role will require travel (Local and outstation) and need based visits to state health society, health department, district govt office locations for meetings, implementations and for meetings with team members.
