About the Role :

We are looking for a seasoned DGM Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) professional to lead strategic acquisition initiatives, transaction execution, financial evaluation, and investment opportunities. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Corporate M&A / Investment Banking, with proven expertise in financial modelling, valuation, due diligence management, and deal execution. This role requires working closely with senior leadership, business heads, investment bankers, consultants, and external advisors to identify and execute strategic growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end M&A transactions from opportunity identification to deal closure.

- Manage transaction execution including evaluation, due diligence, valuation, negotiation support, and closing activities.

- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets aligned with business growth and investment strategy.

- Conduct industry analysis, market research, and competitive benchmarking to identify strategic opportunities.

- Partner with business teams to evaluate acquisition opportunities and strategic fit.

- Lead financial and business analysis of potential investment opportunities.

- Build and review complex financial models for M&A transactions.

- Conduct valuation analysis using appropriate methodologies.

- Prepare investment notes, transaction summaries, and strategic recommendations for senior management.

- Lead coordination of due diligence processes with internal teams and external advisors.

- Work closely with investment bankers, legal advisors, financial consultants, and other stakeholders.

- Present acquisition opportunities, financial analysis, risks, and recommendations to leadership teams.

- Track potential M&A targets and maintain a strong acquisition pipeline.

- Support development and execution of M&A strategy across business divisions including Pharma Solutions, Critical Care, and Consumer Products.

- Ensure smooth project management and timely completion of transaction milestones.

Required Skills & Experience :

1. Corporate M&A :

- 10 - 15 years of experience in Corporate M&A or Investment Banking.

- Strong experience managing mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investment transactions.

- Proven ability to execute deals across the transaction lifecycle.

2. Financial Modelling & Valuation :

- Strong expertise in Financial Modelling, Business Valuation, DCF Valuation, Comparable Company Analysis, Precedent Transaction Analysis, Financial Statement Analysis, and Investment Evaluation.

3. Transaction & Deal Management :

- Experience handling Deal Execution, Target Screening, Due Diligence Management, Transaction Structuring, Acquisition Analysis, and Investment Recommendations.

4. Corporate Finance :

- Strong understanding of Corporate Finance Principles, Business Strategy, Capital Allocation, Strategic Investments, and Financial Analysis.

5. Stakeholder Management :

- Experience interacting with CXO-level stakeholders and senior leadership.

- Ability to manage relationships with investment bankers and external advisors.

- Strong presentation, communication, and influencing skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Prior experience in Pharma, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or Consumer Healthcare preferred.
