Piramal - AI Product Manager

Role Overview:

The AI Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of GenAI, analytics, Traditional AI capabilities across business verticals such as Sales, Credit, Operations, ,Risk and other corporate functions. The role sits at the intersection of AI, business problem-solving, and product execution, ensuring that every AI solution delivers measurable business value and is aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Vision

- Define and own the AI product charter for specific business units (Sales, Credit,Ops).

- Translate strategic themes (e.g., distribution productivity, funnel optimization, risk efficiency) into AI use cases and product roadmaps.

- Build a North Star metric framework to measure adoption, impact of AI initiatives.

2. Product Development & Execution

- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle - from discovery and design to deployment and scaling, setup evaluations.

- Work closely with data science, engineering, and design teams to prioritize problems and deliver roadmap iteratively.

- Define product requirements, PRDs, and acceptance criteria; drive problem-backward design.

- Implement AI workflows / agents as the solution fits

- Drive evaluation frameworks - BERT/F1 scores, human feedback loops, annotation pipelines.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

- Act as a bridge between business, AI manufacturer, AI orchestrator and technology/UX teams, simplifying complex models into usable frontline tools.

- Partner with business verticals to ensure adoption through nudges, gamification, and measurable behavior change.

4. Governance, Value Measurement & Evangelism

- Establish AI product governance frameworks, tracking model accuracy, fairness, and explainability.

- Own impact dashboards

5. Team Leadership & Mentorship

- Lead a team of AI PMs, Data PMs, and Interns, ensuring skill development across reasoning, design, and delivery.

- Create templates and systems for annotation, experimentation, and feedback capture.

Qualifications & Experience

- 5-12 years of experience in Product Management / Analytics / AI Transformation, preferably in BFSI or Fintech.

- Strong understanding of LLMs, GenAI frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph, OpenAI), and MLOps.

- Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into AI/ML problems.

- Hands-on experience with data science lifecycle - problem framing, model validation, evaluation metrics.

- Strong storytelling, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Preferred: MBA and B.E / B.Tech
