Role Overview
The General Manager Sales will lead the overall sales function, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional customer experience. This role is responsible for developing high-performing teams, crafting and executing sales strategies, and managing key client relationships. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commercial mindset, operational excellence, and deep understanding of real estate sales dynamics.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
- Develop, implement, and drive sales strategies to achieve business targets across multiple projects and regions.
- Identify growth opportunities and create actionable plans to expand market presence.
- Monitor KPIs, sales funnels, and performance metrics to optimize conversions and ROI.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and executives to ensure consistent performance.
- Implement training programs, performance reviews, and development plans to enhance team capability.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-centricity.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate developers, channel partners, and key stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial terms, resolve escalations, and ensure seamless collaboration with partners.
- Drive customer satisfaction through timely and effective issue resolution.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee sales operations, processes, and reporting to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
- Provide insights to senior leadership for strategic planning and business decision-making.
Customer Experience
- Ensure a customer-first approach throughout the sales cycle.
- Implement initiatives to enhance customer engagement and drive higher satisfaction scores.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience (10+ years preferred) in Sales Management, Business Development, or General Management roles.
- Strong track record of developing and executing sales strategies that achieve or exceed revenue targets.
- Expertise in customer satisfaction, customer service management, and stakeholder handling.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and scale teams effectively.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Experience in real estate or related industries is highly advantageous.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
