Area Sales Manager
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and performance-driven Area Sales Manager to spearhead residential real estate sales operations in Bangalore. The selected candidate will begin as an individual contributor during the initial 3-month ramp-up phase, followed by the responsibility of hiring, leading, and mentoring a high-performing sales team of 510 members.
This is a high-visibility role demanding strong client engagement skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven capability to close deals through relationship-building and in-person interactions. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving business growth through a consultative sales approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively identify, nurture, and qualify potential customers through digital channels, field activity, and referrals.
- Client Engagement: Conduct in-depth consultations and face-to-face meetings to understand client requirements, preferences, and investment goals.
- Project Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations on project features, location benefits, pricing strategies, and potential returns to drive buyer interest.
- Site Visits: Coordinate and accompany clients on project site visits, offering a seamless and informative experience to increase conversion rates.
- Deal Closure: Build trust and rapport with clients, effectively handle objections, and lead negotiations to drive successful closures.
- Market Intelligence: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current inventory, competitive projects, market trends, and pricing dynamics.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders including Marketing, CRM, and Pre-Sales to ensure timely lead follow-up and efficient sales processes.
- Team Building & Leadership: Post initial individual performance phase, recruit and lead a team of Sales Executives, drive team performance through KPIs, and provide on-ground coaching.
- Post-Sales Relationship Management: Ensure a positive post-sales experience to nurture long-term relationships, encourage repeat business, and build a strong referral pipeline.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in direct/B2C sales; experience in residential real estate is an added advantage.
- Exceptional communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong drive to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and later transition into a team leadership role.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as per client needs.
