About the Role
Assistant Manager - Marketing & Strategy - We are seeking a dynamic and analytically strong professional to play a key role in driving category performance and brand growth at Pilgrim. This role will focus on P&L tracking, consumer and market insights, go-to-market execution, and supporting innovation and new product development, while ensuring strong alignment across teams and optimizing marketing ROI. Responsibilities:
- P&L & Commercial Analytics: Support category P&L management across Pilgrim and PHD. Track revenue, margins, and channel-wise performance across D2C, marketplaces, and offline. Monitor key business metrics regularly, flag deviations early, and surface actionable insights to drive commercial outcomes.
- Consumer & Market Insights: Continuously analyse consumer behaviour, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Translate findings into clear insights that inform brand strategy, product priorities, and marketing decisions.
- Innovation & NPD Support: Track and support the innovation pipeline across both brands. Assist in ideating new product concepts basis consumer insights and emerging trends. Coordinate with R&D, Supply Chain, and Packaging teams to ensure timely launches and help maintain a forward-looking product roadmap.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Assist in crafting GTM plans for new launches and brand initiatives across Pilgrim and PHD. Ensure alignment across marketing, sales, and operations for seamless execution.
- Marketing Budgets & ROI Tracking: Support the planning and tracking of marketing spends across channels. Monitor performance metrics and assist in identifying optimisation opportunities to maximise ROI.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 1-3 years in brand management, strategy or category management, Background in commerce is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills: Strong comfort with numbers and data, proficient in Excel / Google Sheets with ability to interpret dashboards and build reports
- Strategic & Marketing Acumen: Sound understanding of brand strategy and consumer marketing principles,commercial mindset with an eye for business impact
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Strong ownership and follow-through, interest in beauty space is a plus
