Cluster Business Head - Tamil Nadu

Role: Cluster Business Head
We are looking for a seasoned business leader to oversee multiple regions, drive large-scale business expansion, and ensure P&L; success for assigned clusters/branches. The DRBH will play a pivotal role in scaling PW's footprint, improving operational excellence, and mentoring Business Heads & cross-functional teams across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Regional Oversight:
- Lead business performance across multiple regions/branch clusters.
- Own the regional P&L;, ensuring revenue achievement, cost efficiency, and sustained profitability.
- Build mid- to long-term growth strategies aligned with PW's organizational goals.
2. Business Expansion & Market Penetration:
- Identify and execute new market opportunities across assigned states/regions.
- Oversee launch & scale-up of new centers, ensuring smooth execution and strong ramp-up.
- Conduct competitive analysis and drive regional differentiation strategies.
3. People Leadership & Capability Building:
- Lead, mentor & upskill Business Heads, Sales Managers & Ops Leaders across regions.
- Build a high-performance culture with strong accountability & ownership.
- Drive talent development, succession planning & team productivity initiatives.
4. Operational Excellence:
- Standardize processes across branches to ensure uniform academic & operational delivery.
- Ensure compliance, governance, and operational discipline across regional centers.
- Evaluate and improve customer experience metrics, retention, and NPS.
5. Financial Management:
- Develop annual operating plans & forecasting models for the region.
- Monitor financial performance, optimize budgets & ensure cost controls.
- Drive regional profitability through data-driven decision-making.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Academic, Marketing, HR, Finance & Central Ops teams to ensure regional alignment.
- Lead execution of marketing campaigns, enrollment drives & community outreach programs.
- Represent PW at regional industry events & PR forums.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 8-15 years of experience in business leadership roles covering regional/multi-city operations.
- Minimum 5+ years in P&L; ownership, leading large teams.
- Experience in EdTech, Education, Retail, Consumer Business, or Multi-Unit Operations preferred.
- Strong analytical, financial & strategic decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management & problem-solving abilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive scale in fast-growing environments.
