Regional SCM Lead - South About the team and role: The Regional Supply Chain Lead -South Zone will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational activities across multiple locations (Tamil Nadu and Vizag) within a designated zone. This role requires strategic planning, effective resource management, and process optimization to ensure operational excellence, efficiency, and the achievement of business objectives. Key responsibilities: Operational Leadership: - Oversee daily operations across the assigned zone, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. - Manage and lead a team of operations managers, supervisors, and frontline staff. - Implement operational strategies to improve productivity and service quality. Performance Management: - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational effectiveness. - Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across all operational processes. Resource Management: - Manage resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, and budgets. - Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet operational goals. Compliance & Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. - Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Coordinate with cross-functional teams (logistics, finance, HR, etc support Operational Goals: - Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting & Analysis: - Prepare regular reports on operational performance, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities. - Analyse data to make informed decisions and drive improvements. Work Conditions: - Should be flexible to travel within cities of the specified zone and other locations if there is requirement Must haves: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). - Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management, preferably in Ecommerce Health Sector or established players like AMZ or FK (Warehouse Operations) - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. - Proficiency in MS Office and operational management tools/software.
