About the Role:

We are looking for a Lead - Financial MIS to drive financial reporting, management information systems, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting and MIS, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial MIS reports.

- Develop and maintain dashboards covering revenue, profitability, costs, working capital, and key business KPIs.

- Prepare budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting.

- Analyse actual performance against budget/forecast and highlight key business drivers and deviations.

- Partner with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Business teams to understand performance and improve reporting accuracy.

- Automate and streamline MIS processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial reports and dashboards.

- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis, business insights, and decision-support reports.

- Drive financial reporting standardization and process improvements.

- Coordinate with accounting teams during month-end closing and ensure timely availability of financial data.

- Present key financial insights and performance trends to senior management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- CA / CMA / MBA Finance Or equivalent qualification.

- Relevant experience in Financial MIS, FP&A, Management Reporting, or Business Finance.

- Strong knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data analysis.

- Experience with Power BI / financial dashboards will be an advantage.

- Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting deadlines.
