We are currently hiring experienced professionals for the following positions with a leading Oil and Gas group company in logistics and freight forwarding (C&F) Department:
Open Positions:
- Customs Clearance (CHA) Professional - Nigeria (7 - 20 years of experience) - 5 positions
- Freight Forwarding Executive/Manager - Nigeria (7 - 20 years of experience) - 5 positions
Customs Clearance (CHA) Role - Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with shippers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, ports, and regulatory agencies for timely cargo clearance.
- Prepare, verify, and process customs documentation and electronic declarations.
- Classify goods using HS Codes and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
- Calculate applicable duties and taxes and ensure adherence to import/export regulations.
- Track shipments from arrival to final delivery and resolve customs-related queries.
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and audits.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs procedures, and trade documentation.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Relevant experience in Freight Forwarding or Customs Clearance (CHA).
- Strong knowledge of international logistics, shipping documentation, and trade regulations.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant logistics/customs software.

Working Terms:
- Work Schedule: Six-and-a-half-day work week.
- Leave Rotation: 180 days ON / 21 days OFF for office-based roles and 180 days ON / 30 days OFF for plant/site roles.
- General Shift: 8 AM to 6 PM Monday to Friday, 8:30 PM to 6 PM Saturday, and 8:30 PM to 2 PM Sunday.
- Rotational Shift for Plant Operation Team at Site: 12 hrs Shift (7 Days).
- International and domestic travel for approved leave is arranged by the company.
- Salary processing follows the company's standard payroll cycle, with the first salary credited after completion of the initial processing period of 2 months.
