Job Description:

This position provides management necessary to ensure safe, efficient and profitable operation and maintenance of LPG loading terminal at Lagos.

Supervisory Control: 100 Operations & Maintenance Personnel

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain highest level of safety standards and focus on process safety at GPP-3/4 operations.

- Ensure reliable operation and uninterrupted production.

- Implement effective plant preventive programs.

- Provide oversight for day-to-day operation and maintenance including receiving, storing and transportation of LPG.

- Ensure operations and maintenance teams maintain focus and achieve plant objectives.

- Maintain facility cleanliness and smooth operation.

- Manage budget and coordinate expenses.

- Develop standard operating procedures for safe, efficient operations and maintenance in compliance with regulations.

- Act as Emergency Command during plant emergencies.

- Lead safety-related programs and meetings.

- Ensure safe truck loading and unloading operations at the LPG loading gantry.

- Available 24X7 for emergency response.

- Ensure competency of operations, maintenance and safety teams.

- Plan, control, organize and direct activities to ensure efficient product distribution.

Required Competencies:

- Experience in Gas Processing, Ammonia, or LNG plants.

- Expertise in plant maintenance programs, personnel and process safety.

- Strong organization, audit, controls and reporting skills.

- Excellent communication, achievement focus, problem-solving, and integrity.

- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, SAP, and ERP.

Qualifications:

- Mechanical/Chemical Engineering Degree, OR Mechanical/Chemical Engineering Diploma with 20+ years of operations experience.

Work Experience:

- Minimum 20 years of operations/maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas industry/Gas Processing/ Fertilizer (Ammonia/ Hydrogen) including 10 years in a leadership role.

Certifications:

- Relevant industry certifications required.
