Petroexcel Technology - Chartered Accountant

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

- Adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting principles vis a vis Accounting.

- Accurate and Timely Accounting, Reporting: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half yearly and Annually.

- Daily reconciliation of Bank Account Statement against the payments processed.

- Processing of local payments (Salary/vendor) using Treasury Management System (TRMS).

- Ensure all assets are insured with correct valuations by liasoning with User department and Insurance team.

- Preparation of Budget Vs Actuals and reporting the variances.

- Preparing the response to Audit Queries : Internal and External

- Preparation of Cashflow periodically: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually

- Responsible for Supervising the Accountants under him.

- Prepare audit schedules relating to fixed assets, and assist the auditors in their inquiries.

- Track company expenditures for fixed assets in comparison to the capital budget and management authorizations.

- Maintain relevant systems/databases efficiently to ensure information presented to management in a quick time.

- Preparation of process documents/SOPs

- Supporting internal Auditors during internal Audit

- To ensure high efficiency and attention to details while processing payments so as to minimize re-work.

- Coming up with any process improvement ideas

- Setting up and overseeing the organisations finance IT systems.

- Ensure adherence to financials laws and guidelines.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

- IFRS / ERP Knowledge

- Preferred Experience in Petrochemicals/ Refinery / Fertilizers / Cement / Smelting / Steel/Chemicals.

- Financial Analyses, Forecasting and Budgeting

- P2P,R2R and O2C

- Cashflow Management

- Qualified Chartered Accountant/ Cost Accountant/MBA in finance

- ERP/IFRS CERTIFICATION

SELECTION CRITERIA

- 1 - 3 Years Experience as CA / Cost Accountant/MBA in finance.

- Preferred experience in Petrochemicals /Refinery / Fertilizers / Cement / Smelting/ Steel/ Chemicals (Service industry not acceptable)

- Conversant with P2P,R2R and O2C

- Communication Skills (Proficient English speaking)

- Preparation of Budgets and reporting the variances

- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
