Performance Marketing Manager:
You will own the brand's performance marketing engine end-to-end - from strategy and budgets to campaigns, creatives, experimentation and acquisition efficiency. You will have the opportunity to directly influence how we acquire customers, scale categories and turn every of marketing spend into measurable business growth.
Core Responsibilities - Performance Marketing:
Performance Marketing Ownership:
- Own and manage paid acquisition campaigns, with Meta Ads as the primary channel.
- Plan, launch, monitor and optimize campaigns across categories, audiences and different stages of the customer journey.
- Own campaign and account structure, budget allocation, bidding, targeting and day-to-day optimization.
- Scale winning campaigns while maintaining acquisition efficiency and business outcomes.
- Manage budgets actively - knowing when to scale, cut, pause or redistribute spends.
Creative Performance & Experimentation:
- Work closely with the Brand, Content and Design teams to continuously build and test new performance creatives.
- Identify winning consumer insights, hooks, formats, offers and value propositions from campaign performance.
- Build a structured creative testing engine rather than relying on one-off creative refreshes.
- Translate performance data into actionable creative briefs.
- Develop hypotheses, run experiments and document learnings to improve future campaigns.
Funnel & Conversion:
- Look beyond CTR and CPC to understand what happens after the click.
- Track the complete journey from ad - visit - engagement - offer - transaction.
- Identify whether performance problems originate from acquisition quality, creative, landing experience, pricing, product availability or conversion friction.
- Work with Growth, Product, Category and Customer Experience teams to improve downstream conversion.
- Optimize campaigns towards transactions and contribution, not just cheap traffic or leads.
Audience & Growth Strategy:
- Build and continuously refine acquisition, remarketing and re-engagement strategies.
- Understand performance across new users, engaged users and existing customers.
- Identify new audience pockets, categories, use cases and consumer cohorts that can unlock incremental growth.
- Develop category-specific strategies rather than applying the same acquisition playbook across the marketplace.
- Explore and test new paid channels and opportunities beyond Meta where relevant.
Measurement & Analytics:
- Own daily and weekly performance reporting across campaigns and categories.
- Track metrics across the funnel including CPM, CTR, CPC, cost per engaged user, cost per transaction, ROAS and CAC.
- Analyse performance by campaign, creative, audience, category and user cohort.
- Understand attribution and distinguish platform-reported performance from actual business outcomes.
- Identify anomalies, inefficiencies and opportunities through data rather than waiting for them to be flagged.
- Build clear hypotheses from performance data and turn them into actions.
Growth Efficiency:
- Continuously identify areas where the company is overspending, under-converting or acquiring low-quality users.
- Improve marginal efficiency as budgets scale.
- Understand the relationship between paid acquisition and organic/base demand.
- Question whether incremental marketing spend is actually creating incremental transactions.
- Build systems and processes that make performance marketing increasingly measurable, predictable and scalable.
Cross-functional Ownership:
- Work closely with Growth, Brand, Content, Category, Product and Analytics teams.
- Translate business priorities into acquisition strategies and campaigns.
- Bring consumer and campaign learnings back to the wider team.
- Take ownership from identifying an opportunity - launching the experiment - measuring impact - deciding what happens next.
