Senior Manager - Supply Chain Agro Overview:
- Lead field team and assist Regional Manager in implementing better extension model for "Farmer Connect".
- Realignment of territory and vendor base as per the change in model of operation.
- Ensuring implementation of CF norm / seed sale / vendor data base.
- Get agreements signs off from field & Cold Store stakeholders.
- Lead potato storage management in his territory (Direct & Supervision)
- Lead due diligence & audit compliance of all cold stores of the territory.
- Identification and development of third-party cold store as per PIH norms for seed / chip grade, maintenance of long-term potato stocks as per protocol.
- Realignment of Storage base (new & existing) & improve on store S&R% assisting Regional Manager.
- Lead "Agro Digitalization" in East India & also remain key user in PAN India.
- Lead/ Develop/ Sustain - capability of smart-Agro & ensure 100% compliance through end-users.
- Ensure documentation of terrain wise entries & MIS reporting for the territory through end users' hand-held tabs.
- Prepare AOP for the region in collaboration with Regional Manager.
- Ensuring uninterrupted supplies of Potato for the plant - Day/ week/ month & season wise.
- Identify / create / develop / grow / sustain new as well early areas of agro-contacts/ farming pockets.
- Ensure discipline amongst partners/ suppliers/ effective administration and implementation of PepsiCo policy COC.
- Own and drive the Safety agenda - in the territory (field/ Cold Stores/ Silo)
Lead SFI agenda to develop sustainable relationship with farmers and other stakeholders in the territory.

- Lead the relationship building with local government officials & administrative officers drawing strategic alliance for business sustainability in East.
- Ensure discipline amongst partners/ suppliers/ effective administration and implementation of PepsiCo policy & COC.
- Counselling and coaching to farmer members and growers on best farming practices.
- Build relationship with vendors and identify potential new vendors / associations/ NGOs etc. to mitigate the growing requirement with specific quality norms.
- Motivate all stakeholders on better technology acceptance.
- Mentor peers & new-comers - for smooth sync to the system.
- Counselling and coaching to farmer members and growers on best farming practices
- Understanding, supporting and resolving problems of other team members
- Monitor and ensure compliance of plan vs actual
- Learning continuously and upgrading own abilities.
- Seeking feedback from team members and seniors
Qualifications:
SKILL/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
- Education: Graduate/ PG in Agriculture/ MBA - Marketing / Supply Chain
- Functional Experience: Approx. 9-10 years of experience
- Language: English, Hindi, Local language preferred
Experience:
- At least 10 years of hardcore agriculture Input sales / procurement / supply chain experience in a sales / manufacturing / processing set up.
- Proven experience of dealing with farmers, traders, negotiation, selling, collaboration, agricultural departments & state agricultural policy.
- Experience of dealing with local government authorities, suppliers, transporters, CPRI, CIP, & other Agricultural nodal bodies
