Who We're Looking For
- Top-college pedigree: IIT, BITS, NIT, or equivalent - not because of the brand, but because of the problem-solving muscle.
- High-agency background: McKinsey, Bain, BCG, founder's office at a startup, ITC, HUL, P&G, or you've built something yourself.
- 2-4 years of experience - enough to be dangerous, not enough to be set in your ways.
You do not need experience in SaaS, growth marketing, or demand gen. We'll teach you the domain. We can't teach you how to think.
The 5 Traits We're Screening For
- First-principles thinking - You break problems down to fundamentals instead of copying what others do. When something isn't working, you ask why five times, not "what's the best practice."
- High agency - You make things happen instead of waiting. When you hit a wall, you come back with "I tried X and Y, Y is working, here's the plan."
- Communication clarity - You write sharp emails, explain complex ideas simply, and can sell an idea in three sentences. This is your delivery mechanism.
- Speed of learning - You can go from knowing nothing about hiring tech, ATS systems, or franchise ops to having dangerous levels of understanding in 2-3 weeks.
- AI-native systems thinking - You think in systems, not processes. When you see manual, repetitive work, your instinct is to automate it using tools like Claude Code, n8n, Zapier, etc.
What We Don't Care About
- Years of "growth" or GTM experience.
- Whether you've used HubSpot or Salesforce.
- A polished LinkedIn profile with "Growth Hacker" in the headline.
- An MBA (nice to have, not a filter).
Why This Role Is Different
- Most founder's office roles are glorified project management. This one isn't. You'll own a market. - You'll have a revenue target. The founder will be your sparring partner, not your manager. If you'd rather build a GTM engine than optimize someone else's, this is the role.
What You'll Actually Do
- Own a number - You'll have a pipeline target. How you hit it is your ownership.
- Run experiments fast - Try 10 things, kill 9, double down on 1. We care about learning velocity, not perfection.
- Get on calls - Talk to prospects, understand their pain, and feed insights back into product and GTM strategy.
- Work directly with the founder - No layers. Daily access. Your ideas will ship in days, not quarters.
