
People Partner Manager (5-10 yrs)

Role Overview:
The People Partner acts as a strategic and hands- on HR advisor, supporting leaders and employees across multiple employee groups in India. This role bridges people strategy and execution, enabling strong culture, effective leadership, and scalable people practices in a dynamic, high- growth environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and global HR counterparts, the People Partner will help localize and embed people frameworks while addressing business- specific needs with agility and sound judgement.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategic Business Partnering
- Partner with leaders to address a wide range of people topics, including performance management, employee relations, capability building, and engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers, offering guidance, coaching, and tailored interventions to strengthen people leadership capabilities.
- Support organizational design discussions, workforce planning, and team evolution in line with business growth.
2) Employee Experience & Engagement
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of onboarding and early- tenure experiences, ensuring new hires feel supported and effective from day one.
- Champion an inclusive, high- performance culture aligned with organizational values and local context.
- Support engagement initiatives and help translate employee feedback into practical actions.
3) Policies, Compliance & Governance
- Drive the local implementation and adoption of global HR policies, frameworks, and guidelines, ensuring clarity, consistency, and contextual relevance.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of Indian employment legislation and day- to- day people management requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to mitigate people- related risks and ensure compliant practices.
4) Process Improvement & Knowledge Enablement
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve people processes and manager experience as the organization evolves.
- Create and maintain clear documentation, playbooks, and knowledge resources to support leaders and employees.
- Contribute to the development of scalable HR practices that balance global standards with local needs.
Candidate Profile:
Experience & Background:
- 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure in an HR Business Partner, People Partner, or HR Generalist role.
- Experience working closely with leadership teams in fast- growing or evolving organizations.
- Exposure to multinational or globally connected environments with cross- cultural collaboration.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong understanding of Indian labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Clear, confident communicator with high proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing change, and balancing strategic thinking with hands- on execution.
Education - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
