Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager with a strong engineering background and excellent communication skills to support the planning, execution, and delivery of immersive XR projects. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Project Officer (CPO), internal teams, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Documentation:
- Approve project documentation including engineering storyboards, project plans, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with Team Leads to develop project timelines and adjust schedules as needed.
Resource Planning:
- Monitor resource availability and utilization to ensure optimal deployment.
Compliance & Monitoring:
- Maintain audit-ready documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk & Escalation Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Escalate critical concerns to the CPO and drive resolution follow-ups.
Project Budgeting:
- Track expenditures, flag discrepancies, and propose corrective actions.
Change Management:
- Drive internal approvals and update project documentation accordingly.
Vendor Management:
- Monitor SLA compliance and resolve vendor-related issues.
Task Coordination:
- Track progress and maintain accountability across the team.
- Provide regular updates to the CPO.
Communication & Reporting:

- Prepare and deliver project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
- Facilitate meetings and ensure proper documentation of discussions and decisions.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all outputs meet quality benchmarks and client expectations.
Engineering Storyboards & Project Engineer Oversight:
- Train and mentor Project Engineers on documentation standards.
- Supervise performance and task delivery of the engineering team.
Continuous Improvement & Team Support:
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Support the CPO in team leadership, motivation, and conflict resolution.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience of 2-3 years in project coordination or management, ideally in tech.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, or MS Project.
- Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
