About The Role:

We are looking for a hands-on, execution-oriented Head of Warehouse Operations to own our end-to-end warehouse function. You will be responsible for receiving products from suppliers, cataloging inventory accurately, and ensuring fast, reliable outbound fulfilment to our dark store network. This is a high-impact role that sits at the core of our supply chain and directly determines our ability to serve customers at speed.

Key Responsibilities:

Inbound & Receiving:

- Own end-to-end inbound operations from coordinating product delivery to the warehouse through to completed inwarding.

- Define and enforce receiving SOPs to minimise inwarding TAT (turn-around time) and ensure zero-discrepancy acceptance.

- Work closely with procurement and supplier teams to align delivery schedules with warehouse capacity.

Cataloging & Inventory Accuracy:

- Lead the cataloging process product tagging, SKU creation, and system-of-record entry to maintain high accuracy across all inventory.

- Drive continuous improvement in cataloging quality through process design, tooling, and team training.

- Implement regular audits and cycle counts to keep stock records aligned with physical inventory.

Outbound & Dark Store Fulfilment:

- Manage outbound operations to our dark store network, ensuring timely and accurate dispatch of stock.

- Design and optimise pick-pack-dispatch workflows to maximise throughput without compromising accuracy.

KPI Ownership & Reporting:

- Own and drive the three core warehouse KPIs: Days to Inward, Stock Loss %, and Cataloging Accuracy %.

- Build dashboards and reporting cadences to give leadership real-time visibility into warehouse health.

- Proactively identify root causes of KPI slippage and implement corrective actions quickly.

Team & Vendor Management:

- Build, manage, and develop the warehouse team including floor supervisors, catalogers, and logistics coordinators/Picker-Packers.

- Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of ownership and accountability.

- Manage third-party vendors (3PLs, freight partners) where applicable, ensuring SLA adherence.

KPIs You Will Own:

- Days to Inward from delivery receipt to stock available for dispatch.

- Stock Loss % shrinkage, damage, and discrepancy as a percentage of total inventory.

- Cataloging Accuracy % proportion of SKUs cataloged correctly on first attempt.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of category management, merchandising, or related product strategy experience.

- Proven success managing category P&L and driving revenue/margin growth.

- Strong understanding of apparel business fundamentals, retail dynamics, and consumer behavior (kids experience not required).

- Advanced proficiency with data analysis, business intelligence tools, and Excel - inclination towards AI based decision and capability building is a strong plus.

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

What We are Looking For:

- 3+ years of warehouse management experience at a quick commerce or e-commerce company, with direct ownership of inbound, inventory, and outbound operations.

- Demonstrated track record of improving warehouse KPIs through process redesign and team development.

- Strong problem-solving skills able to diagnose issues quickly, think structurally, and implement solutions without waiting for perfect information.

- Bias for action you move fast, iterate on the ground, and do not let ambiguity become an excuse for inaction.

- Strong people skills you can motivate warehouse floor teams and build collaborative relationships across supply chain, tech, and dark store operations.

- Comfortable with data able to track, interpret, and act on operational metrics with minimal support.

- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory tooling is a plus.

Why Join Peeko:

You will be joining at an early and pivotal stage, where the systems, culture, and standards you set will define how our warehouse operations scale. You will have direct access to leadership, real ownership over outcomes, and the opportunity to build a team from the ground up.
