Job Description Stakeholder Engagement Manager - Industry Reporting to: Regional Manager- UK Role and Responsibilities About the role - The Stakeholder Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of Workforce Skills- qualifications and services across India, positioning Pearson as an organisation dedicated to addressing the employability skills gap, driving higher technical skills. Possessing excellent commercial skills, coupled with a good understanding of market, competitor analysis and customer needs, you will drive the growth of the Pearson Workforce Skills portfolio; identifying emerging opportunities, and partnerships which drive the growth and expansion. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you: Candidate will be responsible for: - Building short to long- term strategy with the Workforce Skills team, driving industry engagement, recognition, and growing commercial partnerships within region - Working closely with the global teams, to drive Industry engagement to help identify and address skill gaps supporting product development - Develop new relationships with key employers, industry, corporates, and sector skills councils to identify and deliver on key opportunities . - Leading and participating as appropriate various industry forums to share initiatives around education , technology and skills. - Drive recognition with relevant bodies such as regulators. - Prepare communications to stakeholders and respond to stakeholder enquiries. - Ensure accurate MIS is maintained of all stakeholder engagement and all contact/activities are recorded on stakeholder database - Attend client-facing meetings, collaborative planning workshops and report to client on progress - Provide input into weekly/monthly reports to regional teams. Experience and Skills Required: - Significant experience of managing engagement with multiple stakeholders across Industry, corporates and statutory bodies. - Experience in developing and successfully implementing stakeholder engagement activities to drive growth - Proven ability to work and multi-task under pressure, respond quickly to changing situations in complex project environments, prepare responses/narrative quickly and clearly and use personal initiative - Good interpersonal and networking skills, highly articulate team player - Good project management - Familiarity with using various CRM systems essential - High degree of accuracy in executing work - Ability to schedule work and deliver to tight deadlines
