Manager - Strategy & Analytics


About:


- Qualification: MBA / PGDM from a Tier-1 Management Institute


- Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in management consulting, strategy, business analytics, project management, etc.

- Demonstrated ability to perform standard analyses such as secondary research, performance analyses, competitive analyses, market analyses, etc

- Experience of working in a development sector will be an added advantage

- Skill and Competencies: Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) - Highly desirable

- Good analytical skills and eye for detail.

- Highly professional with sense of accountability problem solving attitude and quick learner.

- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.

- Sound financial literacy (particularly understanding of budgeting and financial reporting processes)

- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to create compelling 'case for support' documents.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to work as an effective team-player and team leader.

- Ability to manage time and multiple work streams in an organised manner, ensuring that key deliverables are met on time.

About the Role (Including Team and Reporting)

1. Financial Analysis:

- Keep track of budgets of existing grants, monitor burn rate, flag anomalies like underspending/overspending and analyse existing spending patterns and calculate future projections.

2. Project progress monitoring:

- Monitor ongoing projects and track their progress against objectives, outcomes, committed timelines, report any exceptions/delays to the project manager and support in making mitigation plans.

3. Inter-departmental coordination:

- Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, Procurement, Communications, Strategy, CEO Office and other Verticals (Women Economic Empowerment and Climate Action) as and when required.

4. Proposal writing:

- Support the team in writing donor proposals in terms of organisational information, programmatic interventions, financial budget and other relevant nuances around finance, people etc.

5. Presentation decks:

- Make high-quality presentation decks for use cases like donor pitches, progress report presentations, meetings with partners and government stakeholders, internal reviews with CEO office etc.

- Strategy: Contribute in a meaningful way to overall strategy of the Health, Nutrition & NTD vertical in terms of short-term & long-term planning, writing of strategy papers and operationalizing the strategy.

6. Market Intelligence:

- Stay abreast of industry trends, sunrise & sunset areas, funding opportunities, global developments etc. connect this to our offerings to get new projects and increase our body-of-work.

7. Relationship Management:

- Manage existing relationships with donors, partners, government stakeholders etc. and develop new ones to enable business development, grow funding base and increase team's knowledge.

- Reporting to: Senior Director - Health, Nutrition and NTD programs

- Reporting from: Office
