About the team: The role is based in the controls and process office at Paytm. The team is structured with the CXO offices and has the responsibility of reviewing processes across business segments and establishing controls around those processes. This team helps businesses take the right decisions and challenges decisions taken to rectify those decisions. It also focuses on the design, implementation, and operating effectiveness of processes and controls. About the role : Execution of various investigations under minimum supervision across all functions, This function supports carrying out preliminary investigations relating to frauds, bribery, and other ethical conflicts. Responsibilities : 1. Understand the current process of revenue and expenses and its primary drivers. 2. Recommend the most efficient process for a business process 3. Investigate business expenses and revenues 4. Carry out mystery audits, if needed. 5. Analytical review of P&L and financial statement line items to identify outliers 6. Establish a process of periodic reviews of controls established 7. Build an ecosystem of process controls through continuous checks and enforcement of controls. 8. Conducting Investigations: Independently handling various investigations under limited supervision, making investigation reports, and ensuring compliance with the documentation standards. 9. Ensure compliance with forensic standards and perform data archival as per internal policy and statutory/legal requirements. 10. Able to present the issues independently. Skillset Required : 1. Minimum 4 years of experience in Forensics and knowledge of accounting. 2. Strong analytical skills along with knowledge in the use of various data analytical and forensic tools. 3. Ability to articulate the investigation findings. 4. Excellent written & verbal communication in addition to impressive interpersonal & negotiation skills. 5. Exceptionally strong work ethic displaying a mature and professional attitude with an ability to adjust quickly to change. 6. Able to work well under stress in a fast-paced environment. 7. Knowledge of various fraud schemes, fraud examination techniques, and Fraud risk assessment skills and experience working with Big4 Companies is preferred.
