Role Overview:

We are seeking a Team Lead / Manager - Cross-Border Sales to drive international merchant acquisition and lead a high-performing sales team focused on cross-border payment solutions. The role involves managing the sales pipeline, mentoring team members, achieving revenue targets, and expanding the merchant base of exporters, e-commerce sellers, and digital businesses operating globally.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership & Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cross-border sales executives.

- Set monthly and quarterly sales targets for the team.

- Monitor performance metrics and ensure consistent target achievement.

- Conduct regular training sessions and sales coaching.

2. Merchant Acquisition Strategy:

- Develop strategies to acquire merchants needing cross-border payment collection solutions.

Focus on industries such as:

- Exporters

- D2C brands

- SaaS companies

- E-commerce sellers

- Freelancers and service exporters

3. Sales Execution

- Drive the complete sales cycle: lead generation - product demo - negotiation - onboarding.

- Support the team in closing high-value merchant accounts.

- Handle enterprise and strategic merchants.

4. Revenue & Growth

- Achieve team revenue and TPV (Total Payment Volume) targets.

- Identify opportunities for upselling services like multi-currency payments, FX solutions, and global payment acceptance.

5. Merchant Onboarding & Compliance

- Coordinate with risk, compliance, and onboarding teams to ensure smooth merchant activation.

- Ensure adherence to KYC and international payment regulations.

6. Sales Planning & Reporting

- Maintain accurate pipeline and sales reporting in CRM.

- Analyze sales performance and share insights with leadership.

- Forecast revenue and merchant acquisition trends.

Required Skills:

- Strong team leadership and coaching ability

- Excellent B2B sales and negotiation skills

- Understanding of cross-border payments and fintech ecosystem

- Ability to manage complex merchant onboarding processes
