About the role: We are looking for self-motivated individuals to be part of our Finance team to drive the Payroll Accounting which includes checking & approving the following activities within SAP to present the books of accounts completely & accurately, including - processing of Quarterly TDS Return, Processing of PF & ESI data, Professional Tax, Full & Finals. Expectations/Requirements: 1. Cleaning of the Salary Payable account, Employee Salary Advance, and PLI accounts 2. Various multiple balances whose setoffs/ clearing not performed for long." 3. Checking & Approving Various regular activities are performed including Processing of Bank Advice, Processing of Quarterly TDS Return, Processing of PF & ESI data, professional tax, Full & Finals, Calculation of Statutory Bonus, Payroll Provisions-Monthly 4. Provision of Leave encashment/Gratuity/PLI etc.- Quarterly, Handling of Petty Cash & Forex Cash 5. Checking and approving the following activities within SAP to present the books of accounts completely & accurately. 6. Managing various multiple balances whose setoffs/ clearing have not been performed for long, Monthly Closing of Payroll for MIS Purposes. 7. Involved in validating & providing the data input for the processing of PLIs. always ensure accuracy to avoid any wrong/ excessive payouts. 8. Supported the system to automate the SAP, we are putting the best efforts to live TDS Salary Quarterly Return- 24Q automated entry for all TDS-dedicated employees Vs deposited challans. 9. Best efforts were put in the system basis we are able to close our financial books. Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role : 1. Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience required. 2. Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, processing, internal control, and payroll taxes. 3. Extensive knowledge of payroll accounting and provisions. 4. Proficient in working on huge databases in excel. 5. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 7. Strong supervisory and leadership skills. 8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Education: CA or Bachelor's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field required.
