Finance Payroll Manager

Role Overview:

As the Finance Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of India payroll processing and compliance for our India operations. You will work closely with the HR, Finance, and Legal teams, as well as external vendors, to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery while adhering to all statutory requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining employee satisfaction, mitigating compliance risks, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end payroll process for all employees in India, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

- Oversee the accurate calculation of salaries, deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related items, adhering to relevant regulations.

- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies related to payroll.

- Manage relationships with external payroll vendors and ensure service level agreements are met.

- Prepare and reconcile payroll-related reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, for internal and external stakeholders.

- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

- Address and resolve employee queries related to payroll in a timely and professional manner.

- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments to processes and systems.

- Lead and mentor a team of payroll professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with the Finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis related to payroll expenses.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end payroll processes for a large organization in India.

- Proven ability to interpret and apply relevant labor laws and tax regulations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels.

- Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

- Bachelor's/PG degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- Comfortable working in an on-site environment in Gurgaon/Gurugram.
