Job Title: Payroll & Compliance.

Location: Gurgaon.

Experience: 4-8 years.

Industry: Clothing & Apparel.

Preference: Immediate Joiners | 15 days or Serving Notice Period.

Job Summary:

- The Payroll and Compliance is responsible for managing the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring the organization's adherence to all relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.

- This role involves maintaining compliance with legal standards and company policies to minimize risk and ensure smooth payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process end-to-end payroll for employees, including salary, bonuses, deductions, and benefits in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

- Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax filings, social security, and other statutory contributions.

- Coordinate with HR and finance departments to verify employee attendance, leave, and other data impacting payroll.

- Prepare and submit payroll reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews.

- Monitor changes in payroll legislation and implement necessary adjustments to payroll procedures.

- Assist with year-end processes such as issuing tax forms (e.g., W-2, 1099, or equivalents based on location).

- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.

- Support compliance audits and liaise with external auditors or regulatory bodies as needed.

- Maintain payroll software systems and ensure data security.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field preferred.

- Proven experience in payroll processing and compliance management.

- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, labor laws, and tax compliance.

- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
