Job Title: Head, HR Operations Location: Gurgaon (Onsite, 5 Days a Week) Experience: 8-12 Years Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of shared services/operations professionals, ensuring high levels of engagement, productivity, and quality - Build solid knowledge and ownership of operational processes within the team - Develop and implement strategies to optimize shared services processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, payroll, and invoicing - Focus on improving customer satisfaction through operational excellence - Support process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement in collaboration with product teams - Monitor SLAs and KPIs; implement action plans to address performance gaps - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while maintaining team well-being - Manage global relationships with internal teams and external service providers - Develop and execute training and development programs to upskill the team - Participate in annual budget planning and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints - Oversee performance of shared service systems, tools, and technologies - Implement strong operational controls and mitigate risks Required Skills & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field - 8-12 years of experience in operations management, with a strong focus on payroll, shared services, and process optimization - Proven track record of improving operational metrics and meeting/exceeding KPIs - Ability to work independently and drive initiatives proactively - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration capabilities - Demonstrated experience in team leadership and people management - Skilled in managing relationships with stakeholders and third-party vendors - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability - Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment is a plus Work Setup: This is a full-time onsite role based in Gurgaon Candidates must be open to working from the office 5 days a week
