Financial planning, budgeting and cash flow management  Costing and profitability assessment  Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget  Monthly/Quarterly/Annual P & L presentation to management  Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department  Manage the preparation of all financial reports and statutory audits  Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts  Prepare financial analysis and product investment decisions  Compliance with local, state, and federal Govt Rules and Regulations  Tax management, compliance and filing of tax and other statutory returns.  Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives  Serve as primary government liaison relative to financial issues  Coordinate financial audits  Represent the organization externally, as necessary, particularly in banking and trade bodies  Recruitment, Training and mentoring of Accounts and finance team.  Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals, and administer salary adjustments.  Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.  Upgrade and implement an appropriate system of policies, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures.  Managing Liquidity - raising finance from market if required.  Qualifications & Experience:  - MBA in Finance or Master Degree in Accounting/Finance or Equivalent  - CA or CPA  - Minimum 10 years- experience in a senior management role.  - Hands on experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.  - Well versed in Indian and US accounting and tax practices and rules.  - Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers  - Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.  - Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations  - Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections  Self-reliant, good problem solver, results oriented  - Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a team leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives.  - Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
