Payments Strategy Lead - FinTech

Responsibilities:

- Define and drive strategy across payment processing, card migration, data migration, and reconciliation.

- Lead end-to-end implementation of new payment rails, processors, card programs, and platform transitions.

- Own card migration initiatives, including processor switches, BIN transitions, and network changes while ensuring minimal business disruption.

- Oversee migration of payments-related data, including transaction data, customer profiles, and tokens, ensuring accuracy and security.

- Manage reconciliation and settlement processes, identify gaps, drive automation, and ensure alignment between systems and ledgers.

- Act as the bridge between business, finance, operations, and technology teams during implementation and migration programs.

- Manage relationships with payment processors, card networks, banking partners, and third-party vendors.

- Establish governance frameworks, timelines, and success metrics for implementation and migration projects, and provide regular leadership updates.

- Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS requirements, network mandates, and industry regulations.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in Payments, FinTech, or Banking domains.

- Proven experience in leading large-scale migration and implementation programs from planning through stabilization.

- Strong understanding of payment processing flows, settlement cycles, and reconciliation practices.

- Hands-on functional exposure to payment platforms and reconciliation tools.

- Experience working with card networks, processors, and banking partners.

- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and program management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and evolving environments.

- Experience with BIN sponsor migrations or core processor transitions.

- Familiarity with reconciliation and ledger automation tools.

- Exposure to payment compliance frameworks, including PCI-DSS and scheme network rules.
