Payments Consultant/Technical Business Analyst/Functional Business Analyst

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Payments SME / Technical BA / Functional BA with deep expertise in SEPA and SEPA Instant payments to support payment integration initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with banking partners, payment platforms, and internal technology teams to ensure seamless integration, implementation, and go-live support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a Payments Subject Matter Expert for SEPA and SEPA Instant implementations.

- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.

- Review and validate High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Level Design (DLD) documents.

- Collaborate with bank integration teams, payment vendors, and internal stakeholders.

- Support file-based and real-time payment integrations.

- Provide go-live support, post-production stabilization, and issue resolution.

- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and create functional/technical documentation.

- Ensure alignment with regulatory, compliance, and industry standards.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- Strong hands-on experience with SEPA & SEPA Instant (Mandatory).

- Minimum 5+ years of SEPA integration experience.

- Experience with FIS OPF / FIS Payment Engine (12 end-to-end implementations preferred).

- Hands-on experience with file-based and real-time integrations, including:

1. REST APIs

2. Webhooks

3. Kafka

4. MQ

- Strong understanding of payment flows, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation.

- Can be positioned as Payments SME, Technical BA, or Functional BA depending on experience.

- Strong ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
