We're Hiring: Partner (Sector Cluster Lead | CAT I - Angel Fund Partner)

Location: Mumbai

Sectors: Consumer Internet & Enterprise software - Manufacturing & Hardware (incl.

Aerospace & Robotics) - Fintech & Services - Consumer Brands & Marketplaces

Team Leadership: 8-10-member sector pod (direct reporting)

Ownership: Full P&L + End-to-End Investment Ownership

What You Will Lead

1. End-to-End Investment Ownership

- Own the full cycle: sourcing - evaluation - IC - negotiation - Fundraising - Monitoring Exits

- Build thesis-led conviction and drive structured, high-velocity investment decisions.

- Run deep due diligence, financial evaluation, and category mapping.

2. Team & P&L Leadership

- Lead and mentor a 8-10-member sector cluster.

- Full P&L ownership for the sector.

- Run weekly funnel reviews and quarterly sector strategy reviews.

3. Sector Intelligence & Category Leadership

- Build sector insights: market maps, competitive landscapes, investment theses.

- Drive category-build initiatives and represent externally.

4. Founder Partnership & Portfolio Value Creation

- Act as the primary bridge between founders and internal teams.

- Support founders across GTM, product, fundraising, governance, and hiring.

- Enable follow-ons through VC, FO, and global investor networks.

5. Exits & Liquidity Pathways

- Drive secondaries, strategic exits, and structured liquidity events.

- Track runway, performance, and exit readiness.

6. CAT I Angel Fund Responsibilities

- Co-drive sector pipeline and fund strategy.

- Engage with LPs and strategic partners.

- Ensure governance and compliance per CAT I AIF norms.

Who You Are

- 6-10+ years in VC, CVC, IB, PE, consulting, or startup leadership.

- Strong experience across sourcing, evaluation, portfolio, and exits.

- Experience in team leadership & P&L ownership.

- Sector knowledge in Deeptech/AI/Fintech/D2C.

- Founder-friendly, analytical, execution-driven.
