Key Responsibilities

- Lead and advise on mergers & acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and strategic transactions.

- Conduct and supervise legal due diligence exercises across multi-sector transactions.

- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, business transfer agreements, investment agreements, and ancillary documents.

- Advise clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, FEMA, Companies Act, SEBI regulations, and related commercial laws.

- Coordinate with regulatory authorities, financial advisors, tax consultants, and cross-border counsel on transaction execution.

- Manage end-to-end deal structuring, negotiations, signing, and closing processes.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with promoters, corporates, investors, funds, and financial institutions.

- Mentor and supervise associates and senior associates within the corporate team.

- Contribute to practice development, client acquisition, and strategic growth initiatives of the firm.
