
Partner- Government Advisory and Philanthropy
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly experienced and impactful Partner to serve as a senior leader in our organization. The ideal candidate will have 10-15+ years of experience in government advisory, philanthropy, or a related field, with a proven ability to drive business growth and lead multi-stakeholder programs.
- As the face of the organization to both government and philanthropic ecosystems, you will be responsible for building and nurturing strategic relationships, converting opportunities into high-impact, sustainable programs, and ensuring the delivery of systemic change on the ground. This role reports directly to the CEO and requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for collaborative, impact-driven work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth and business development by creating avenues for new strategic business opportunities and cultivating relationships with philanthropies, multilateral organizations, and senior government leaders.
- Strategically lead the design and execution of complex, multi-stakeholder programs from conception through to high-quality delivery.
- Ensure program alignment with both government priorities and philanthropic goals, positioning the organization as a critical execution and systems partner.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior government officials (e.g., IAS officers and ministers) and philanthropic funders.
- Diagnose complex societal challenges by breaking down problem statements and guiding internal teams to ensure timely, quality-driven program execution.
- Provide strategic leadership and program ownership, ensuring initiatives drive systemic impact at scale rather than simply maintaining existing relationships.
- Serve as a thought leader, guiding teams in effective problem-solving and leveraging a strong understanding of the Indian governance and philanthropic landscapes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years of professional experience with significant exposure to government and/or philanthropic partnerships.
- Proven ability to design and deliver multi-stakeholder programs, with a focus on creating systemic impact.
- Strong understanding of the Indian governance and philanthropic landscapes.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, impact-driven environment.
- Excellent skills in business development and program design.
- Willingness to travel 40-50% of the time.
