Manager - Human Resources
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations with a focus on Indian payroll management for an employee base of 200+.
- Manage and ensure accurate payroll processing, reconciliation, and timely disbursements in compliance with applicable laws.
- Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Bonus Act, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.
- Maintain and update employee records including new joiners, exits, transfers, and role changes.
- Handle full and final settlements, statutory filings, and coordinate with finance and external payroll vendors.
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards for management on key HR metrics including attrition, headcount, compliance, and payroll.
- Support audits related to HR, payroll, and statutory compliances.
- Ensure smooth implementation and administration of HR systems and automation initiatives.
- Resolve employee queries related to salary, leaves, attendance, reimbursements, and other HR policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in HR operations, with strong exposure to Indian payroll and statutory compliance.
- Prior experience in the IT/Tech industry is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/payroll tools such as GreytHR, Keka, Zoho People, or SAP HR.
- Strong understanding of labour laws, compliance reporting, and government portals (EPFO, ESIC, Shram Suvidha, etc.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience in HR audits and labour inspections.
- Exposure to ISO/ISMS HR-related documentation and processes.
- Worked in a startup or fast-growing IT firm environment.
