Job Title: Retail Sales & Operations Manager

Reports to: Retail Head

Location: [Bangalore]

Job Summary:

- We are Seeking an Experienced and Strategic Retail Sales and Operations Manager - PAN India to lead Retail Sales and Operations of Paragon Exclusive Footwear Stores.


- The Successful Candidate will be Responsible for Developing and Implementing Operational Strategies to Drive Sales growth, improve profitability, and Enhance Customer Experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Strategy and Planning:

1. Develop and implement region-specific operational strategies to achieve targeted sales numbers.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational plans with business goals.

3. Develop AOP for COCO, FOFO business models

4. Develop Store-wise KPI's, Staff Motivation, Business Reviews and SOP's.

5. Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to inform operational decisions.

Store Operations and Management - (COCO & FOFO):

1. Oversee the daily operations of retail stores ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

2. Manage store budgets, including manpower, inventory, and operational costs.

3. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.

4. Managing retail P&L, overseeing plans to achieve AOP.

5. Provide operational support and guidance to franchisees to ensure compliance with company standards and policies.

6. Conduct regular business reviews with franchisees to analyze performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans.

7. Oversee the recruitment and selection of new franchisees.

8. Develop and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new franchisees.

9. Ensure new franchisees are adequately supported during the initial start-up phase.

10.Conduct regular audits to ensure franchisees comply with company standards, policies, and procedures.

11. Collaborate with franchisees to address any compliance issues or concerns.

Inventory Management and Logistics:

1. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.

2. Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise.

3. Implement inventory management best practices to improve stock accuracy and reduce shrinkage.

Loss Prevention and Risk Management:

1. Develop and implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage and theft.

2. Collaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and implement loss prevention initiatives.

3. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and implement corrective actions.

Team Management and Development:

1. Lead and develop a team of store managers, operations managers, and support staff.

2. Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance and productivity.

3. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

Reporting and Analytics:

1. Prepare and analyze Daily sales reports (DSR), inventory reports, and operational metrics.

2. Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and implement corrective actions.

3. Provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance and profitability.

Requirements:

1. 10+ years of Retail Sales and Operations management experience, preferably in a multi-store environment. Footwear industry background will be an added advantage.

2. Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing profitability.

3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

6. Should be Graduate, additional qualifications in Business Management would be an added advantage.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with retail software and systems (e.g., POS, inventory management).

2. Knowledge of loss prevention and risk management best practices.

3. Certification in retail operations management or a related field.

4. MS office proficiency
