Pantheon - Business Analyst - Oil & Gas Applications & Engineering Systems

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong experience in supporting upstream Oil & Gas applications and engineering systems. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Windows environments, cloud-based applications, and upstream oil and gas business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business and technical requirements for upstream Oil & Gas applications.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, application teams, and IT teams to understand requirements and identify solutions.

- Support applications related to reservoir management, production analysis, forecasting, production optimization, and production surveillance.

- Analyze data and workflows to identify process improvements and system enhancements.

- Support data processing and engineering applications used within upstream operations.

- Troubleshoot application and environment-related issues and coordinate with relevant technical teams.

- Prepare business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation, and user stories.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support application releases and testing.

- Work with cloud-based applications and Windows desktop/server environments.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar IT/business systems role.

- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Windows desktop environments.

- Experience working with cloud-based applications.

- Prior experience supporting upstream Oil & Gas applications.

- Understanding of one or more areas: reservoir management, production analysis, forecasting, production optimization, production surveillance, data processing, or engineering systems.

- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
