PanIIT Alumni Foundation - Specialist - Policy & Government Engagement - IIT

We are seeking a high-calibre professional with a strong analytical foundation (IIT or equivalent) and deep policy orientation to work at the intersection of public policy, financial modeling, institutional design, and state capacity building.

This is a high-ownership role requiring strategic thinking, structured execution, and political-administrative maturity.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage state-level government engagements to secure funding, training and livelihoods institutes, and infrastructure setups.

- Draft policy documents and drive initiatives; Anchor structured engagement with senior bureaucrats and regular high-level meetings with clarity and credibility.

- Develop and execute calendarized implementation plans, cabinet notes, funding proposals, SOPs, while ensuring timeline adherence

- Navigate cabinet processes and bureaucratic systems; drafting official government documentation

Required Qualifications

- IIT alumnus (preferred) or equivalent institution with 5+ years in public policy, skill development or government consulting

- Proven analytical skills, policy analysis, excellent board-facing communication skills and project management roadmaps.

- Experience in state liaisons, SPV/JV formations and G2G fundraising is an advantage.

Essential Skills & Mindset:

- Analytical Prowess: Excel in data analysis, metrics oriented, budget modeling , and timeline adherence

- Policy Inclination: Navigate regulatory bodies/commissions/bureaucracy/ministries ; draft cabinet notes/MoUs/funding proposals/calendarized plans/SOPs.

Location - Delhi based; travel-ready for State/field engagements.
