Job Summary:
- We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with strong experience in the insurance domain, preferably with exposure to the US insurance market.
- The ideal candidate will gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate meetings and brainstorming sessions with business and technical teams.
- Analyze and document business requirements; translate into detailed technical stories and tasks.
- Create use case diagrams, workflow charts, and process flows to support development teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and updates.
- Lead and support the end-to-end SDLC process, including UAT coordination and demo sessions.
- Provide ongoing support and clarification to development and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive scrum planning and report progress to management.
- Support ERP/CRM implementations and related projects.
Key Skills: (must have).
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis with exposure to the insurance domain.
- Strong understanding of the US insurance market is preferred.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in tools like Postman, Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile (Scrum), and Waterfall methodologies.
- Basic understanding of API protocols (SOAP/REST), SWAGGER, and service integration patterns.
- Familiarity with UML diagrams and business intelligence tools (reporting, dashboards, data analysis).
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (e. , SQL, JavaScript, C#) is a plus.
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
Addon Skills:
- Experience in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) domain.
- Exposure to Information Security or Identity Management.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and UAT processes
