Role Overview

The Paid Search Specialist will be responsible for the strategic development, execution, and optimization of search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns across major platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.


This role requires a strong analytical mindset, deep technical expertise in campaign management, and the business acumen gained through an MBA to drive measurable results and articulate value to clients.


Key Responsibilities


Campaign Strategy & Management


- Design, implement, and manage high-performing Paid Search (PPC) campaigns from scratch across various search engines.


- Conduct thorough keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation to inform campaign structure and bidding strategies.


- Manage large-scale budgets, ensuring optimal Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and CPA goals are met or exceeded.


- Develop compelling ad copy, including the use of ad extensions and A/B testing methodologies to maximize Quality Score and click-through rates (CTR).


Client & Stakeholder Management


- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong communication and strategic partnership.


- (Client Handling is a must).


- Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights and present campaign results, strategic recommendations, and future plans to clients and internal stakeholders.


- Consult with clients to align Paid Search strategies with their broader marketing and business objectives.


Optimization & Reporting


- Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize campaigns on a daily basis, focusing on bidding adjustments, budget pacing, geo-targeting, and landing page performance.


- Utilize advanced reporting tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and attribute conversions.


- Experience in an Advertiser Side environment is required, demonstrating a deep understanding of internal business goals and end-to-end campaign execution.


Required Skills & Qualifications


Education: Mandatory MBA degree (Marketing, Finance, or Strategy specialization preferred).


Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in managing large-scale Paid Search campaigns.


Technical Proficiency:


- Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising platforms.


- Proficiency in setting up and managing Conversion Tracking, Tag Management (GTM), and Google Analytics.


- Demonstrated experience in Campaign Management across Search, Shopping, and App campaigns.


- Strong working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis.


Business Acumen:


- Proven track record of managing client relationships and driving successful client outcomes.


- Deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including SEO, Display, Social Media, and their interplay.


- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, adapting to different client needs and time zones.


Desired Attributes


- Google Ads certifications (Search, Shopping, Measurement).


- Experience with automated bidding strategies and third-party bidding tools.


- Familiarity with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize).


- Experience in the E-commerce or B2B domain
